About Owner Sheri L. Knope, CPA, CIA, CFE, CFF

A native to the Coulee Region, Sheri Knope has over 15 years of accounting experience working with internal audit, fraud prevention and detection, risk management and bank management.

While her expertise is primarily in the financial institution industry, Sheri also understands the complexities of owning a business. This not only makes her relatable to her small business customers but it also allows Sheri to be able to provide her customers with a unique insight into what financial institutions are looking for when it comes to lending, finances, etc. With the increasingly strict regulation climate, this insight is what sets Sheri and PKC Consulting above all other firms.

Ever ready to take on a challenge, Sheri purchased Neale A. Horman & Associates, a well-respected local tax office. The addition of this practice into her already thriving business has enabled PKC Consulting, LLC to provide all aspects of accounting, including general business accounting (such as payroll and bookkeeping services), tax preparation and additional business consulting services to its clients.

Sheri’s credentials include licensure as a certified public accountant (CPA), certified internal auditor (CIA), certified in financial forensics (CFF), and certified fraud examiner (CFE). Sheri is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Sheri is currently studying to aquire the BVA or Business Valuation Certification.
