Dennis Peters retired from the US Army as a major in 1994 after his 21 years of service and began his new career in the financial services industry. His duties have included Compliance Officer, Security Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Graduate Degree in Information Management.
His expertise has been focused in the areas of information technology, operations and financial management for community banks located in West Central Wisconsin. Additionally, he has exceptional experience and talent in developing risk assessments, creating policies and implementing procedures. Dennis has been involved in the migration of core data processing structures both in house and outsourced with multiple vendors. He has been involved int he data processing conversion of banks from one core processor to another along with the operations and IT challenges of both the purchase and sale of bank branches. He has also developed and coordinated acquisition/sale plans with primary regulatory agencies.
He lives in La Crosse, WI and has worked for PKC Consulting since 2010.
